Foundation vs diploma vs bachelor?

Foundation prepares you for bachelor study, a diploma is a separate qualification, and a bachelor is a university degree. Duration varies by program. Foundation progression depends on the destination degree’s conditions. Diploma credit and entry level are decided by the receiving program; entry into year two is not automatic.

Is a Foundation recognized?

Check the exact qualification and location in MQR, and separately confirm the receiving university’s acceptance for bachelor entry. Malaysian accreditation does not guarantee acceptance by every university or recognition in another country.

Can I transfer to another university after Foundation?

It depends on the new institution accepting the exact qualification and on meeting degree, subject and language conditions. Get written confirmation before paying for foundation; do not assume a transfer agreement covers your intended course.

Is IELTS required?
